A Generous Gift Bouquet with Small Details at the Edges

Floral Design Spotlight · The Rose Shed

This generous bouquet from The Rose Shed has room for both large pale flowers and tiny branching details. Its broad outline feels abundant, with smaller stems softening the edges of the wrapping.

Change the size of the flower faces

Large cream and pale pink blooms are easy to spot first. Smaller clustered flowers fill the spaces between them, giving the bouquet detail without making every part equally bold or equally dense.

Allow a few stems beyond the main shape

Fine sprays reach farther outward than the central rounded flowers. Those narrow extensions keep the large bouquet from looking like a solid block and give the eye a gentle way into its outline.

Let the paper support the colors

Warm pink wrapping shows beneath and around the flowers. It picks up tones already present in the bouquet, so the packaging feels connected to the design rather than becoming a competing feature.

Try the idea in your own style

Look at a bouquet from several steps away and identify its three largest flower faces. Then notice the finest stems at the edge. In your own sketch, use both scales before adding the outline of the paper.
