A Lavender Bouquet with Fine Flowers Between Round Blooms

Floral Design Spotlight · Fleuropean

Fine lavender flowers weave between larger pale heads in this Fleuropean bouquet. The contrast makes the bouquet feel full of small discoveries while keeping its color calm.

Let the little flowers connect

Small lavender faces appear throughout the bouquet rather than only at its edge. They visually connect the larger round blooms and make the spaces between them feel considered.

Vary the flower sizes noticeably

Large pale heads sit beside much smaller clusters. That difference gives the bouquet depth and texture, allowing us to appreciate the individual flowers without introducing several strong competing colors.

Allow a longer lower outline

The bouquet narrows as stems and little flowers extend below its fuller portion. That gentle taper gives the handheld shape movement and keeps it from reading as a symmetrical ball.

Try the idea in your own style

Choose a few larger flowers and one fine-flowered material in related pale colors. Before adding more, look for a route of small flowers through the center and check the bouquet's lower outline.
