A Pastel Centerpiece with Yellow Flowers Reaching Outward
Floral Design Spotlight · Fleuropean
Yellow flowers reach away from pale pink dahlias in this Fleuropean centerpiece. The arrangement feels open because its smaller flowers occupy the gaps as well as the outer edges.

Let the yellow shapes lead outward
Several pale yellow flowers sit beyond the larger pink heads. Their lighter, more open forms extend the silhouette and give the eye a route away from the fuller central area.
Repeat fine lavender details
Little lavender flowers appear in several parts of the arrangement. Their small scale provides a gentle link between the larger blooms and keeps the spaces from feeling accidentally empty.
Match the stand to the soft palette
The plain warm-toned stand supports the flowers without adding a strong new color. Its simple outline also gives the changing flower heights something steady to contrast with.
Try the idea in your own style
In a small vase, start with a few round pale flowers and place lighter, open flowers slightly beyond them. Add only enough fine material to connect the groups, preserving visible gaps between some stems.
