A Wide Summer Urn with Fine Branching Stems
Floral Design Spotlight · Honeysuckle and Hilda
Fine stems spread above a fuller pink and white center in this Honeysuckle and Hilda urn arrangement. The pale wall behind it makes the changing outline especially easy to enjoy.

Let the shape become lighter upward
The lower flowers gather more closely while the upper stems branch into open space. That change in density gives the arrangement height without making its whole top feel heavy.
Spread beyond the vessel
The flowers reach much wider than the narrow urn below them. The difference creates a generous silhouette, while the plain pale container gives the detailed flower group a steady base.
Repeat small dark details
Deeper pink flowers appear among the lighter faces. These smaller accents add depth to the center and help separate the pale overlapping petals where the arrangement is fullest.
Try the idea in your own style
Sketch a narrow urn with a wide flower group above it. Use fewer marks as you move upward, leaving visible gaps between the tallest stems. Check that the fuller lower part still connects the whole design.
