A Winter Wreath with Cones Citrus and Warm Pink Leaves

Floral Design Spotlight · McQueens Flowers

A winter wreath can hold more than one kind of warmth. McQueens Flowers combines evergreen texture with orange slices, brown cones and pink-toned leaves in this generous circular design.

Repeat small warm accents across the greenery

Orange slices appear in several parts of the wreath. Their bright circular shapes connect the warmer details, rather than leaving one side carrying all of the color.

Mix textures that remain easy to distinguish

The cones have a firm, layered surface beside soft evergreen tips and smoother leaves. Each material stays recognizable, giving us several details to explore within the same overall circle.

Allow the outer edge to move

Some narrow tips and rounded leaves reach beyond the main wreath shape. Those small extensions make the circle feel lively instead of drawing a perfectly even line all the way around.

Try the idea in your own style

Before making a wreath, lay a loose circle of materials on a table. Place a few warm accents around it and photograph the arrangement. Move just one accent at a time to explore balance; use suitable secure mechanics for any finished hanging piece.
