Open Dahlia Faces Among Round Pink Flower Heads

Floral Design Spotlight · Fleuropean

Fleuropean's centerpiece mixes round pink heads with open flowers that reveal darker centers. The window view makes it easy to notice how different flower shapes can share a soft palette.

Compare the two kinds of circle

Some flowers are tightly filled spheres while others have broad petals around a visible center. Repeating both shapes gives the arrangement variety without losing its family resemblance.

Use darker centers as detail

The open flowers carry stronger rosy markings near their middles. Those small patches add depth to the pale petals and create focal points that don't depend on adding another large flower.

Let stems show between the faces

Several flowers sit high enough for their stems to remain visible. Those narrow lines break up the fuller lower area and make the upper portion feel light and individually placed.

Try the idea in your own style

Draw three full circles and three open flower faces in related pink shades. Place them at different heights, leaving some stems visible. Compare their effect before adding any extra filler.
