Pink Flower Clouds with Tall Yellow Lines and Green Trails
Floral Design Spotlight · Floral Menagerie
Bright color feels especially lively when the flower shapes differ. Floral Menagerie brings pink rounded heads, tall yellow flowering lines and trailing green details together in this close floral-cloud study.

Repeat pink through different kinds of flower head
A rounded pale pink bloom appears beside broader pink clusters and open petaled faces. The repeated color connects them while their different surfaces keep the close view from feeling uniform.
Use yellow lines to draw attention upward
Tall narrow yellow details rise behind the fuller pink flowers. Their direction gives the grouping a clear change in height and a different scale from the rounded heads near the middle.
Let green trails add a downward movement
The longer green tassel-like details fall below some of the brighter flowers. Their direction balances the upright yellow lines and gives the design more than one kind of movement.
Try the idea in your own style
Choose a rounded flower, a tall flowering line and one material with a natural downward curve. Sketch their directions first. In a small arrangement, leave enough room around each shape that you can still notice all three movements.
