Pink Peonies Tall Bells and Lacy White Flower Sprays
Floral Design Spotlight · Scarlet and Violet
Different flower shapes can make a pink-and-white bouquet feel wonderfully varied. Scarlet and Violet brings broad peony heads, tall bell-like flowers and fine white sprays together in this generous design.

Let the largest petals form a few focal places
The pink peony heads sit among much smaller flowers, giving the eye clear rounded shapes to find. Their soft surfaces feel especially noticeable beside the many tiny white details.
Use tall flowers to change the silhouette
Upright pink flower lines reach above the fuller central grouping. Their height adds movement without making every stem compete for the same position at the top of the bouquet.
Let fine white sprays reach beyond the center
The small white flowers extend sideways and downward as well as upward. That lighter edge gives the whole bouquet room to move around its more concentrated pink flower heads.
Try the idea in your own style
Choose three flower shapes: a broad rounded head, a tall line and a fine spray. Keep the palette simple while you arrange them. Look at which shape you notice first, then change just one stem's height to see what happens.
