Small Peach Flower Vases on a Richly Patterned Tablecloth
Floral Design Spotlight · Hannah Berry Flowers
Flowers can belong with a patterned tablecloth without matching every detail. Hannah Berry Flowers uses small peach, cream and dark flower groupings across a richly colored dining table.

Let the cloth carry much of the pattern
The tablecloth already holds a busy mix of warm colors and fine lines. The smaller flower arrangements leave that surface visible instead of trying to cover it with one large centerpiece.
Use pale vessels as quiet spaces
The little light-colored containers stand clearly against the patterned cloth. Their plain surfaces give the eye a pause and make the individual flower shapes above them easier to read.
Repeat peach and dark accents through the groupings
Soft peach heads appear beside very dark little flowers at several places. That repeated pairing connects the separate vases while allowing each one to hold a different number or shape of stems.
Try the idea in your own style
Set two small flower vases on a patterned cloth and keep their colors simple. Compare plain vessels with more decorative ones. Choose the combination where you can still enjoy both the flowers and the cloth without either becoming hard to see.
