Warm Summer Flowers Viewed from Above

Floral Design Spotlight · Jenni Bloom Flowers

An overhead view shows the rich mixture of shapes in Jenni Bloom Flowers' summer flower selection. Small patterned faces sit among red, orange and muted rose blooms, making the collection feel lively before we look at individual stems.

Find the repeating small circles

Little round heads appear in several places through the grouping. Their repetition connects the larger flowers and gives the eye a route through a busy mix of textures.

Let the warm palette vary in strength

Bright red and orange sit beside softer tan and rose tones. Those quieter colors matter because they give the stronger blooms contrast without introducing a completely separate cool palette.

Use the overhead view for comparison

Looking down makes the different flower faces easier to compare. We can notice where similar shapes gather and where a narrow or irregular flower breaks up the pattern between rounder heads.

Try the idea in your own style

Lay a few cut stems on a plain surface and photograph their heads from above. Look for repeated shapes and one useful contrast. Use that observation to plan small vase groupings rather than copying an exact recipe.

This is our suggested design exercise, not the creator’s recipe or a reconstruction of their method.
