Mariachi Lisianthus – Pure White: Plant Profile and Care
Mariachi Lisianthus – Pure White — Eustoma grandiflorum — Mariachi Pure White. Sakata lists Pure White within its Group 2 Mariachi series, which has extra-double, camellia-like flowers. The pure-white catalog offer is distinct from the mixed tray that also contains Arena Red.
Light and placement
NC State recommends morning sun and afternoon shade.
Water and growing medium
Use moist, well-drained soil.
An arranging exercise
Try grouping two white stems at different heights so their outlines remain separate. Look at the arrangement against a darker background to assess its silhouette. Keep the plant’s series and color label attached through transplanting. The number of plugs in a tray is separate from the eventual number of flowers available for cutting.
Choosing the plant for your space
Compare the identity on your plant label with the botanical name above. A pot diameter identifies the container offered for sale; it does not establish the plant’s mature size or a named cultivar. Before choosing a permanent place, consider the light there, the available room and how you will check the growing medium. The source links below provide further botanical context.
