Royal Velvet Supertunia — Petunia — Supertunia Royal Velvet. Deep-purple flowers sit above a slightly mounded plant that can fill a container or spill over its edge. The brand’s retail reference lists 4–12 inches tall and 18–24 inches wide. This profile follows the retail source under that name; it does not substitute measurements from a newer numbered replacement.

Light and placement

The retail reference recommends part to full sun, with at least four hours of direct sunlight daily.

Water and growing medium

Check the growing medium and container drainage when setting a routine. The linked retail care section gives feeding and trimming guidance, but does not establish a fixed watering interval for every setting.

Plan around the mature outline

Compare the plant’s width with the container before combining it with neighbors. The retail reference says deadheading is unnecessary and recommends light trimming when needed; avoid removing more than 20 percent of the branches in one trim.

Choosing the plant for your space

Compare the identity on your plant label with the botanical name above. A pot diameter identifies the container offered for sale; it does not establish the plant’s mature size or a named cultivar. Before choosing a permanent place, consider the light there, the available room and how you will check the growing medium. The source links below provide further botanical context.
