About Lisianthus
Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum) is a premium, high-end cut flower known for its rose-like appearance and exceptional vase life of 2+ weeks. Often referred to as the field rose, Lisianthus produces 5–10 blooms per stem, making it a favorite among florists for weddings, events, and market bouquets.
Growing Information
Greenhouse & Field Production: Greenhouse production is preferred but not required in most zones. Our Lisianthus is grown field-style with support to protect plants from wind damage.
Unpackaging: Unpackage plugs immediately upon arrival, check moisture levels and water as needed (bottom watering recommended). Allow plugs to acclimate at room temperature for 2–4 hours.
Hardening Off: Place plugs outdoors under a covered porch or lightly shaded area, limit direct sunlight to less than 6 hours per day, harden for 3–4 days, and keep plugs evenly moist using bottom watering. Plugs may remain outdoors if outdoor temperatures are above freezing (40 degrees farenheit low recommendation while in trays.)
Transplanting: Transplant once plugs have 4 sets of true leaves. Space plants 4–6 inches apart and keep the plant crown at soil surface level. Avoid prolonged exposure to 85–90°F without shade protection as this can cause rosetting. If temperatures are below 85 degrees fahrenheit, no shade cloth is needed. Maintain even watering with moist soil in well drained soil.
Harvesting: Harvest when 2–3 blooms are open, preferably in the early morning for maximum vase life.

How long will my bouquet last?
With proper care, most of our fresh flower bouquets last 5–7 days. Be sure to trim the stems, change the water daily, and keep them out of direct sunlight or heat.
Can I request specific flowers or colors?
We do our best to honor special requests! While we can’t always guarantee specific blooms (due to seasonal availability), let us know your preferences at checkout and we’ll create something beautiful and custom just for you.
Do you offer same-day or next-day delivery?

How are your bouquets packaged for pickup or delivery?
Our bouquets are carefully hand-tied, wrapped in protective paper, and hydrated with a water source to stay fresh during transport. Gift notes and care cards are included, too!
Do your flowers come with a vase?
Our standard bouquets are sold without a vase, but you can easily add one at checkout. We also offer vase arrangements in a separate collection for a ready-to-display option.
